About the Ag Society
Proudly serving Harrison County since 1860!
The Harrison County Agricultural Society is the steward of one of Indiana’s most enduring community traditions. Located in Corydon, Indiana, we are home to the longest consecutive running county fair in the state, a legacy that began more than 160 years ago and continues to thrive today.
Our History
The very first Harrison County Fair was held September 11–14, 1860, bringing together local families, farmers, craftsmen, and community leaders. Remarkably, the fair has been hosted in the same location ever since making our fairgrounds not just a venue, but a living piece of Indiana history.
Through wars, economic shifts, and generations of change, the fair has never missed a year. This unbroken tradition stands as a testament to the resilience, pride, and community spirit of Harrison County.
